Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS)
is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
whose mission is to empower young women,
ages 13-21 years, who have experienced
sexual exploitation and violence to exit
unsafe and abusive lifestyles and to develop
their full potential. GEMS’ provides young
women with empathetic, consistent support
and viable opportunities for positive
change.

Clothing:
Gently
worn, slightly used or new clothing is
greatly appreciated. Our members'
sizes range from 6-16.loed

- Computer
workstation, we train young women and
girls on the basics of typing and computer
software so they may find employment
opportunities

Towels, Bed linens, draperies for young
women who enter into our crisis and
emergency housing shelters
- Storage
bins, closet organizers, clothes racks,
hangers, etc for our crisis and emergency
housing shelters.

We
gladly accept all office supplies including,
computer equipment, furniture, etc.
School

encourage our members to stay in school
